Director Bryan Singer is working on the cast for the next installment of the X-Men series and he’s just announced that Halle Berry has signed on the dotted line to bring back her role as Storm.
The new movie is due out in 2014 and will be titled X-Men: Days of Future Past. The plot line revolves around the cast traveling back in time to change a major even that could have a huge effect on the world and everyone living on it.
So far the cast is looking awesome:
Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique
Nicholas Hoult (Jennifer’s ex-boyfriend) as Beast
Hugh Jackman as Wolverine
James McAvoy as Charles Xavier
Michael Fassbender as Magneto
Halle Berry as Storm – Halle recently said in an interview that she was ready to come back and revive Storm. She said,
I am excited. I love Storm. That’s one of my favourite characters that I’ve played. And people love that character as well.
Ellen Page (newby) as Shadowcat
Peter Drinklage (from Game of Thrones) as unknown
Anna Paquin as Roque
Ian McKellen as Old Man Magneto
James Marsden as Cyclops
Shawn Ashmore as Iceman
Patrick Stewart as Old Man Charles Xavier
In conclusion, this movie will feature pretty much everyone except Rebecca Romijn, who formally played the older Mystique and Famke Janssen, who played Jean Grey.
There’s still time though.
