Janet Jackson Says “Thanks But No Thanks” to ‘The X Factor’
Simon Cowell shocked everyone by axing the entire table of judge, with the exception of L.A. Reid (probably because he’s too powerful to fire), on his show “The X Factor.”
Rumors were flying that Cowell asked the lovely Janet Jackson to join the table, but she has graciously declined the offer.
Jackson is very busy with her new gig with Nutrisystem and a tour for her Number Ones album (the tour is called ‘Number Ones: Up Close and Personal). Jackson has always been a very busy lady so it’s not surprising that she can’t find the time to be judgmental, critical, and opinionated for ‘The X Factor.’
I suppose Cowell will just have to keep searching for his replacements, which he has commented will be two females. There has been a lot of chatter about who those two females should be – Janet was obviously in the competition for the seat, but clearly not anymore – but there has also been talk about Britney Spears, LeAnn Rimes, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, and Fergie.
