Karl Lagerfeld, who is the creative director for Chanel, gave an interview to Metro on Monday where he said,
The things at the moment is Adele. She is a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice.

Karl tried to make peace after everyone lunged at his throat for making such an insensitive comment by elaborating on his thoughts:
I’d like to say to Adele that I am your biggest admirer. Sometimes when you take a sentence out of the article it changes the meaning of the thought.
