Grammys Scurry To Plan Tribute to Whitney
Ryan Seacrest was on set for the Grammys rehearsal when he and the rest of the room heard that Whitney Houston passed away. Of course the Grammys need to do something amazing to pay tribute to their queen. Unfortunately they have zero time to put something together.
Thankfully, Jennifer Hudson is a huge fan of the late diva and has been asked and has accepted a proposal to be a part of the tribute during the Grammys show.
There are also reports that Chaka Khan will also be a part of the tribute.
Thanks Seacrest for the heads up!
Jennifer Hudson hasn’t commented about the tribute on twitter, probably because she’s stuck in rehearsals every second until the show goes live; however Chaka Khan did give her condolences on her twitter page.
Check out the video of Chaka Khan and Whitney Houston performing “I’m Every Woman” on VH1′s Divas Live in 1999. I remember Whitney’s outfit vividly.
