Actress Forced to Release Name in Suit Against IMDB
We told you at the end of last year that an actress filed suit against the popular website, IMDB.com for revealing her actual, accurate birth year on her page, which she believes, was harming he career and preventing her from getting gigs in Hollywood. She was seeking $1 million.
This actress filed the suit as “Jane Doe” and refused to name herself because she thought that it would just contribute to her detriment. The Judge did not feel the same way and ordered her to amend the Complaint to name her personally or else the suit would be dismissed.
Fearing failure in Hollywood and in Court, this nameless actress amended her Complaint and named herself! Unfortunately, I have no idea who she is….
The actress’ name is Junie Hoang, who is actually 40-years-old. For some reason, she fears that 40-year-old actresses don’t get work in Hollywood, which is what stemmed the lawsuit.
Hoang hasn’t been in shit…ever. Literally her credits, which start in 1992, include: “Street Fighter II: V (the TV series), “Fifth Ward,” “My Big Phat Hip Hop Family” (seriously), “America’s Most Wanted: America Fights Back” (TV series where she played Jane Doe #1 a/k/a an extra), and many more nameless, unknown, shit titles that aren’t worth typing.
Basically, this actress was trying to concoct a reason that she had no career and she blamed IMDB.
- This suit is still ongoing.
