Mena Suvari Is Going to Be a Single Lady Once Again
After a year and a half of marriage, Mena Suvari (32-years-old) is going to be a divorcee for the second time.
Mena and Simone Sestito married June 2010 after three years of dating. Sestito was a concert promoter and met Mena at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2008. Sestito proposed to Mena in Jamaica in July 2008 and the two married in Rome because Sestito’s family lives there.
Mena filed divorce paperwork yesterday, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Mena stated in the paperwork that she had Sestito have been separated since November 2011.
It’s not known for sure what happened between the couple, but maybe this twitter post from Thursday can shed some light on the situation….
Mena has been posting a lot of ‘thank yous’ for all the support she’s been receiving from her friends and twitter family.
Mena first marriage to Robert Brinkmann who was a cinematographer started in 2000 and ended in 2005 after also citing irreconcilable differences. Brinkmann was seventeen years older than Mena.
