Evan Rachel Wood Engaged
Actress Evan Rachel Wood is engaged to her boyfriend Jamie Bell! In case you’re scratching your head about who the hell Jamie Bell is, he is a 25 year old actor who acted in “King Kong,” “Jumper,” “The Eagle” and is the voice of Tintin in “The Adventures of Tintin.” (Yeah – I still didn’t know who he was after that list either.)
Jamie was spotted around town in December looking for the perfect engagement ring. He ended up settling on a solitary diamond.
Jamie and Evan Rachel met in 2005 on the set of Green Day’s music video for “Wake Me Up When September Ends.” They dated for a little over a year before breaking up. The couple got back together last summer after she broke off her engagement to rocker, Marilyn Manson (the year prior).
Jamie must be a really good gift-giver because Evan Rachel commended his Christmas gift for her on her WhoSay account. Check out what he got her for the holidays this year:
After the holidays Jamie and Evan Rachel headed to Mexico to bring in the new year. Jamie tweeted this pic of Evan Rachel checking out Mayan ruins. Ironic that they start 2012 admiring the Mayans who have also predicted that this year will be the world’s last.
As an aside – I wonder what Jamie thinks of the fact that Evan Rachel came out as bisexual to Esquire Magazine last May….
