Gene Simmons & Shannon Tweed's Wedding Photo
Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed have shared their first wedding photo from their nuptials this weekend.
The KISS star and Skinemax Movie Queen released the photo to PEOPLE mag today. The picture even features the family dog, along with Tweed in her low-cut wedding dress… and the couple’s pet puppy, Snippy, on the left. (How could I not include a cheesy Simmons-is-a-dog joke? Too easy!)
Anywho, the ceremony took place in front of 400 guests at the famed Beverly Hills Hotel. The couple, who wed after being together for 28 years, had a difficult year – one where Tweed even walked out of a CNN interview when talk of Gene Simmons highly publicized affairs came up.
But that didn’t stop the pair from enjoying their nuptials. Their 19-year-old daughter and maid of honor, Sophie, sang Etta James’ “At Last” (FYI: most overplayed wedding song ever, jsyk)
Simmons, who we’re still not sure if he’ll keep it in his pants now that he’s married, enjoyed the ceremony nonetheless. He told PEOPLE, ”It was a great evening of music and fun. I look at my wedding band and think, ‘What was I afraid of all this time?”
How about the fact that you couldn’t walk by an attractive woman without humping her leg?
