Gene Simmons is a Married Man!
KISS frontman Gene Simmons married his longtime girlfriend and mother of his two children, Shannon Tweed, on Saturday.
The couple married in front of 400 guests at a ceremony on the lawn outside of the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Gene proposed to his girlfriend of 28 years for the season finale of their reality show “Gene Simmons Family Jewels” while vacationing in Belize.
People Magazine reported that Shannon who is eight years younger than Gene, but with all the work she’s had done, looks 20 years younger than Gene, wore Priscilla of Boston wedding gown and carried ivory roses.
Also in attendance at the wedding were Hugh Hefner, Bill Maher, and Gene’s fellow KISS bandmates. The couple’s daughter, Sophie, was Shannon’s maid of honor.
Good news! There was a film crew at the wedding so we’ll get to see the whole event on the season premier of the their reality show on October 81.
Ffshewww – what a relief. I was afraid I wouldn’t get to see any of the wedding.
