Jon Gosselin is Overjoyed That Kate’s Show is Canceled
Jon Gosselin told RumorFix.com that he is happy that ‘Kate Plus 8′ was canceled and that its last day is September 12, because now his kids can get back to living a normal life.
Jon also said during the interview that Kate needs to get back to normal life (whatever that means after 6 years of being on a reality TV show) and that she needs to realize that “Reality TV is not a career,” which is easy for him to say after he got kicked off reality TV and couldn’t afford his super ugly Ed Hardy addiction.
Kate has admitted that she’s a little nervous about life post TLC, but in a recent episode she conceded that she would definitely go back to nursing in order to provide for her children, even though she would prefer to stay in television.
Jon said, “Things will work out the way they should work out. Obviously there are families out there that have several kids – people work normal jobs and things work out. Everything is possible.” Jon said that he left the show to pursue his computer support career and that “I go to work every day and provide for my family. I spend time with my kids – spend time on the weekends. I spend time with the girlfriend I’ve had for over a year now. And enjoy a normal lifestyle.”
(He had to add the part about a girlfriend, didn’t he? One-upping it to the end!)
