Jaycee Dugard Is Suing the U.S.
Jaycee Dugard has decided to file suit against the United States Government for failure to properly monitor Phillip Garrido while he was on parole for rape. During the time that he was insufficiently monitored by the government, he was able to abduct Jaycee in 1991 and hold her captive for 18 years.
Jaycee alleged (and rightly so) that the parole board should have paid more attention to this psycho and if they had then maybe he wouldn’t and couldn’t have snatched her as she walked to her school bus.
Although the damage has already been done, Phillip Garrido pled guilty in April to kidnapping and raping Dugard and he was sentenced to 431 years to life in prison (although I don’t know what the difference is between 431 years and life).
Jaycee had two daughters to Philip and if you ask me, each of them should have at least a couple causes of action against that monster and his shit piece of shit wife, Nancy Garrido, too.
