Gaga Dedicates Song To Fan During I Heart Radio Festival

Ryan Seacrest opened the I Heard Radio music festival that was held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas this weekend by telling the crowd that they are part of the “the biggest live music event in radio history”. Whether that is true or not, the concert had a sick line up and was jam packed with alcohol, amazing music, and monumental performers.

On the bill for the 2 day concert was:

Day 1 (Friday night) – Back Eyed Peas, Carrie Underwood, Bruno Mars, Kelly Clarkson, Coldplay, Jane’s Addiction (who just released a new album), Alicia Keys (who is hopefully sanz her allegedly cheating husband), Jay-Z

Day 2 (Saturday night) – Kenny Chesney, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Sublime with Rome, Rascal Flatts, Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler (without Aerosmith???), David Guetta, Usher, Sting, Jeff Beck.

Here are some highlights of the concert

Bruno Mars did his rendition of Amy Winehouse’s “Valerie” and Chris Martin of Coldplay did his rendition of “Rehab”.

Jay-z did a 40 minute set, which was full of some of his old stuff (“99 Problems”, “Dirt Off Your Shoulder”, “Big Pimpin’”, and some of the newbies like “Empire State of Mind, which obviously also featured Alicia Keys since she was also performing at the concert.

J-Lo stayed in town a little longer to host a party at Pure Nightclub on Saturday.

On Saturday, Lady Gaga dedicated her performance of “Hair” to one of her fans, Jamey Rodemeyer, who committed suicide this week as a result of being bullied. Gaga vowed to speak to President Obama about making bullying a hate crime. (I’m with Gaga!). Jamey was only 14 years-old.

Check out Gaga’s dedication and performance!
