Amy Winehouse Was Not Going To Adopt
It was reported by a grandmother of a 10 year-old girl in St. Lucia that Amy Winehouse was in the process of finalizing an adoption of the little girl. The grandmother told a British paper that Amy had gone to St. Lucia for a vacation and had met the little girl, Dannika Augustine, and the two fell in love with each other.
The grandmother also reported that the 10 year-old’s mother was poverty stricken and was open to allowing Amy adopt her daughter and that she and Dannika’s father had already signed the adoption papers.
According to Dannika, she already called Amy her “mum” and she said that Amy had been to St. Lucia several times to spend time with her and that she was already like a mother to her.
Dannika’s grandmother also said that “Amy wanted to have a child so bad. If she had not died, there is no doubt she would be here in St. Lucia completing the adoption process. There is no way she would have done what she did to herself if Dannika was with her.”
Well according to Amy’s representative, this story is complete bull and that although it’s possible that Amy met Dannika during one of her travels to St. Lucia, she never started, intended, or contemplated adopting the little girl.
What’s the point in lying about this story if there’s no proof of it? Do they just want the money or the fame? It’s such a shame to take advantage of someone who clearly cannot speak for themselves any longer.
