The End of The Poncho: Ugly Betty Comes To An End.
ABC hit Ugly Betty has been given the axe by the network, after the President of ABC announced that the critically acclaimed audience favourite will not be renewed for a fifth season. The show was destined to fail after a move to Friday nights and subsequent move back to Wednesdays. In the current thousand channel climate it is impossible for viewers to find their favourite show and ratings slid.
What will Betty, Wilhelmina, Justin and Mark do now that they won’t be on television to expose the world to hideous fashion and MODE shenanigans? That Guadalajara poncho is sure to end up on the back of a crazy woman in Manhattan when the show is forgotten in 2 years…Adios Betty!
